Long Lifespans - Did You Know?
The average lifespan of a jaguar in the wild is 12-15 years, which is longer than many other big cats. Lions tend to live 10-14 years, cougars live 8-13 years, and cheetahs live roughly 10-12 years. Leopards share a similar lifespan of 12-17 years, while the largest cat in the world, the tiger, lives approximately 16-18 years.
